Pastor Jenn Dafoe-Turner

"I believe every person has the God-given potential to live a life of abundance and purpose."

My Story

For years, I believed that if I loved Jesus enough, served hard enough, and cared for everyone else, everything would eventually fall into place. I was a pastor, a wife, a mother, and someone people came to for hope. But beneath the surface, there were still places in my own heart that needed healing.

The moment that changed everything wasn't standing behind a pulpit. It was sitting on the edge of my bed with a beer in one hand, marijuana beside me, and tears running down my face. I remember whispering, "I don't want to live, but I don't want to die."

That was my rock bottom. Jesus didn't meet me with shame. He met me with mercy.

Over time, He led me through recovery, freedom from addiction, healing from trauma, and the slow work of renewing my mind. Years later, after losing the church where I met Jesus, where my husband and I were married, and where our children were dedicated, I discovered something else: God wasn't finished writing my story. What felt like losing my identity became an invitation to discover it.

Today, I know that breaking strongholds isn't about trying harder. It's about allowing God to transform the places we've hidden, surrendered one step at a time.

That journey is why I serve as a spiritual coach in Cambridge, Ontario, a Christian life coach, pastor, author, and what many have come to know me as — a spiritual midwife. I have the privilege of walking beside people as God brings freedom, healing, and new life.

Why Spiritual Coaching?

Pastoral ministry is deeply important, and I will always love the local church. But over the years, I noticed something. Many people heard excellent sermons on Sunday yet quietly struggled Monday through Saturday. They knew biblical truth but couldn't seem to apply it to their fear, addiction, shame, unhealthy relationships, or the lies they believed about themselves.

That's where spiritual coaching makes the difference. Coaching creates space for honest conversations, thoughtful questions, practical next steps, and accountability rooted in grace. It isn't counseling, and it isn't simply teaching. It's walking alongside someone as they learn to recognize the barriers holding them back and invite God into every part of the process.

Credentials & Experience

For more than 15 years, I have served in pastoral ministry, helping individuals and families discover hope in the middle of life's hardest seasons. I am an ordained pastor, author of five published books, founder of the S.O.B.E.R. Living framework, and an international conference speaker who has presented at events including Speak Up Conference and AWSA (Advanced Writers and Speakers Association). I also host the Radical Abundance podcast, where honest conversations meet biblical truth.

Who I Help

I work with people who know there has to be more than simply surviving. Some are trapped in addiction cycles and long to experience lasting freedom. Others are women recovering from trauma who want to rediscover their identity after years of carrying pain. Many are Christians who love God but feel distant from Him and don't know how to reconnect.

A Personal Note

If you've found your way here, I don't believe it's by accident. You don't have to pretend you're okay. My role is simply to walk beside you, ask the right questions, point you back to Jesus, and help you recognize the freedom He has already begun to offer.
